Equine Hospital and Stable
This equine hospital and stable structure reclaims an existing perimeter concrete wall from an old facility that was lost in a fire. The roofs are raised, and the interior space adds an abundance of light and ventilation. The barn design includes heavy timbers, large bolt connections, a metal roof, and wood siding. The project reflects a vernacular with a contemporary flair. David Bradford, AIA, was a designer and principal-in-charge while at 310 Architecture + Interiors (Now Studio 310)—photography by Sterling Stevens.
